iPhones For The Weekend!

Friday
Nov 14,2008

Due to reviewing a vast amount of mobile phones on my blogs, I spend a lot of time online and on the telephone with the various help desk staff for all of the major telecommunications networks and mobile phone manufacturers. This used to be something I’d regret, especially several years ago, the level of support was absolutely terrible, an extremely shoddy operation. The only support you got was what was found in the manual, the staff on hand were not particularly well educated and simply reading from the same material I was. Thankfully, this is no longer the case.

Help Desk Outsourcing has given telecoms, mobile, cellular and technology companies in general a way to cut costs and offer a higher level of service at the same time. By outsourcing their help desk services to companies specifically trained to deal with customers and more importantly trained in supporting a specific product or service, companies are able to provide their end users with the support they desire, at a professional level and at a much lower cost.

It isn’t just large corporations that are now outsourcing their support operation, even small to medium sized business are making a saving by employing specific support staff thus freeing up their existing staff to take the business forward as opposed to supporting customers.

There are a large amount of phone card companies out there these days, all of which have numerous offers for calling various countries and various times for various durations from various destinations. This is a known fact. What is little known is how to get the best calling card rate from your phone card provider. For example, if you’re looking to call India from the United States on a regular basis, you will be best sourcing india calling cards. This way you will always get the cheapest rate when calling to or from India.

There are numerous phone cards available, the main type being the country specific cards which are extremely popular within the business community but also the prepaid calling cards and plans which enable their users to dial pretty much who they want, when they want and not only that, they don’t have to be in a specific location to do so.

Whichever option you choose, be it the prepaid calling plan or country specific calling cards, one thing is 100% guaranteed – you will save money and lots of it, especially when compared to your original mobile or telecom provider.

The next time you’re purchasing a phone card, try buying a country specific card and see how much you save compared with your regular phone card.

In the past, phone cards have always been geared towards landline / payphone users but not anymore. They have, undeservedly so, also gained a great deal of stigma, especially from the mobile and cellular community. But, that will no longer be an issue as I have recently come across a new service – cellular calling cards. As the name suggests, you can now use your cellular or mobile phone for international calling, via a third party company and enjoy the vast amount of features and benefits that come with that.

You can now use cellular calling cards to make calls to and from International countries from any country in the world and not only that, you don’t need to remember any obscure pin code and constantly re-charge or buy new cards when you run out of credit on an important call.

The automatic recharge features and long distance low rates make a calling card for your cellular phone the only feasible option for calling Internationally – unless you want to pay the networks extortionate costs.

Of course, you can still make huge savings by buying standard phone cards that work in the way they always have, but with even bigger savings that beore.

Low Rate Calling

I am going to go a little off topic from iPhone with this post and discuss some basic ways of saving money on calls. In particular international calls. I am sure that my readers are aware of most of the ways to save money on calling but have you considered something as simple as calling cards? I know I personally overlooked them when I used to make a lot of calls to the United States from here in the UK.

There are a number of low rates calling cards out there to choose from, all of them seem to be tailored to the specific country you want to dial or from the specific country you’re dialing from, such as the US – but, there are a number of cards on the market that use plans which allow you to call anyone, anytime and from anywhere in the world (within reason).

One company I have been hearing a lot about is banana call calling cards. These guys offer rechargeable phone cards so you don’t need to keep purchasing new cards and remember new pin codes etc. They also offer pinless dialing so you don’t need to remember any pins whatsoever!

If you need to make a lot of international calls, I suggest you give them a try.

Every one of us tends to personalize the things we own in an effort to assign ownership and display our individuality. Cell phones and mobile ringtones are no exception. In fact the huge array of ringtones that have flooded the market may yet remain unmatched by any other product made for consumer use today. The range available is overwhelming. Monophonic ringtones made way for the more melodious polyphonic ringtones, then service providers offered a choice of ringtones to their users over and above what was already available on the phone and now we have the ways and means available to download free cell phone ringtones from innumerable websites on the internet. Just as it applies to any material downloaded from the internet, mobile phone users are advised to ensure that they authenticate the website and then proceed further, as downloading from dubious sources may not be a wise or safe thing to do. It is also recommended to ensure that the format of the ringtone is compatible with the phone you use. There are ringtones in various formats, and phones these days are pretty versatile too. So there is enough to choose from to help you establish and display your individuality.

New Firmware for the iPhone

The iPhone team has created software that breaks out the iPhone with new firmware Pwnage 2.0 such as the iPhone 3G. The firmware allows you to install programs without having to use the Apple App Store. The new Pwnage 2.0 lets its users run applications from a third party as well as the community of the new iPhone and original iPhones that have been upgraded. Before Pwnage 2.0 was released, there was nothing but tutorials teaching how to downgrade to firmware 1.4, but only for upgraded original iPhones.

There is still not SIM lock hack available for the current firmware to remove the necessity of using a specific service provider. Since people can only get the iPhone 3G if they sign a contract at the time of purchase in most countries, like the US and the UK, a SIM lock hack is hardly worth the time.

Before, in the US or the UK, you were able to purchase an iPhone that had a SIM locked to the AT&T or O2 network, but were not required to sign a contract. People were able to unlock iPhones using a SIM lock hack before the iPhone was activated.

In countries that are offering the iPhone 3G without a contract, like Belgium, the iPhone is already unlocked at a substantially higher cost than that of the locked phones in countries that do require a contract.

Using phone conferencing in your office can be very beneficial to your business. Phone conference service comes in quite handy when you need to get several people in on a call at the same time. It saves time and money for you and your customers. However, if the conference call is not executed in the proper manner it can get extremely frustrating as well as confusing very quickly.

Before you get any one on the phone line, inform everyone physically in the room of the rules of etiquette which you expect to be practiced during the coarse of the call.

Once everyone is on the line make introductions and let everyone know whom they are talking to and what part they are going to play in the call.

Make sure that all participants in the conference call have all of their cell phone turned off.

Avoid placing the call on Hold and never use the Call Waiting feature during a conference call. Mute the speakerphone if no one at your location is going to be answering any questions or otherwise verbally participating in the conference call.

If everyone involved in the conference call follows these simple rules of etiquette, your conference call should be a success.

Skullcandy iPhone FMJ (black)

Tuesday
May 27,2008

Skullcandy iPhone FMJ (black) is an iphone (basically an FMJ headset) that anyone would crave for. It has been the most stylish and functional earbud so far. Though it has not been as popular as other iphones’ earbuds, yet it has been a great gadget to be used or recommended to be used. The quality that sets it apart from other iphones is its audio quality with thematic sounds of technical expertise.

The Skullcandy iPhone FMJ earphones are exclusively meant for wired headsets. Although the latest trend is for wireless ones, this headset, on a conventional theme, is very flexible for your ears. But this gadget may not suit all needs and tastes since it is designed on a specific yet common guideline that may be comfortable for a particular set of ears.

If you want to ask for listening music of specific type, then yes, you can. The reason for this is that the quality varies with different types of music. For example, if you are listening to a folk then it is the best choice but if you listen to a hard rock, then you will be the first to criticize it. Despite that it gives you the best audio clarity with best approachable techniques.

First in the AT&T category,   Apple iPhone 4 GB (AT&T) was introduced before 8 GB Apple iPhone in the Macworld 2007. Back in 2007, Apple didn’t give a slightest hint about it until its launch date. Perhaps, this iPhone business might be a great gambling monopoly. Well, coming to the point, this Apple iPhone doesn’t give you great designs as offered in other Apple models. You can’t get rid of its edgy network as well. But what it can provide you is the perfect sound quality. It has its unique and exclusive audio feature. This is a perfect example for an Apple iPhone model and because of its best audio features, Apple has got all the recognition.

Again, like other Apple iPhones, this iPhone is also sleek and stylish. Smooth touch screen function and easy handling make it a great Apple tool. In addition to this, it has a well formatted menu which enables users to access it properly and perfectly. The set is so designed that it fits the technology phrase effectively. It’s totally up to you, whether you use it for need or necessity. But one thing for sure,   despite a slow data network and average call delivery quality, it offers the best music content in an exclusive audio format. So what are you thinking? Just go for it.

Did you know that there was a dispute between Apple and Cisco over the name iPhone? There was a legal dispute between the two companies. Cisco, the owner of Linksys iPhones, fought with Apple over the copyright of name iPhone. But ultimately both the companies were granted the permission of using the name iPhone. And now, they compete with each other to produce the best technologies. In this regard, Linksys iPhone CIT400 Dual-Mode Internet Telephony Kit for Skype is an advanced attempt of Linksys.

Linksys iPhone CIT400 Dual-Mode Internet Telephony Kit for Skype comes in three different sizes. Though it is not the best model in size and design, it is very compact in its own size. The use of this iPhone is for communication or calling purposes. Using the best Ethernet connection, Linksys dual mode kit has an inbuilt speaker phone with the contact capacity of 500.
